The team, who are currently based in the East end of Glasgow will be moving to Maxim Park at the beginning of August this year, taking 1410 sq ft on the second floor of the Maxim 3 building.

Peter Brown, our Financial Director and 5th generation of the Brown family, had this to say about the move; “We are delighted to be re-locating our Scottish office to Maxim. While our main warehousing facility is located in Stoke-on-Trent, as a Scottish company, we are keen to maintain and grow our presence in the Scottish market as well as service our customers in the rest of the UK and abroad. Our move to Maxim fits well with our growth aspirations and supports our aim to modernise and transition from traditional steel stockholder and profiler to integrated solutions provider. Maxim offers fantastic office premises from which to operate, with facilities to match, and we are very much looking forward to the next five years and beyond.”

We hope that the move will allow the business to offer an even better service to Scottish customers, enabling a modern environment to do business in and cement the company’s position as one of the leading steel plate stockholders and suppliers in the UK.

We will be joining other successful businesses already on the park including Lamellar Biomedical, Document Data, SEPA, Wills Bros, Allied Glass, SureThing, Proact IT and many others. The location of Maxim Park in the Eurocentral area boasts big names such as Amazon, FedEx and Laing O’Rourke. Brown McFarlane are proud to be working close to a range of successful businesses.
